1. What is MONIK?
MONIK is a French silk accessories brand rooted in heritage and artistry. Each piece is made from 100% silk satin and features original artwork by my grandmother, Monique Georger, transformed from canvas to wearable form.

2. What products do you sell?
We offer silk scarves and lizières.

• Silk scarves (90x90cm) are timeless, versatile accessories that can be styled around the neck, hair, bag, or even as a top.
• Lizières (6x100cm) are long, narrow silk ribbons, perfect for tying around a ponytail, wrapping around a bag handle, wearing as a headband, or styling as a bow.

3. Where are your products made?
All MONIK pieces are produced in limited batches by a certified silk manufacturer based in China, known for its high-quality craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability.

4. How sustainable is your production?
We partner with a silk supplier certified by GOTS, OEKO-TEX®, and BLUESIGN®, ensuring fabrics are biodegradable or recyclable. From sourcing to finishing, every stage follows eco-conscious principles:

• Locally sourced & finished to reduce carbon emissions.
• Non-toxic production — no azo dyes, formaldehyde, heavy metals, or pesticides.
• Water & energy efficiency through advanced conservation systems.
• Ethical working conditions with fair wages, safe environments, and regulated hours for skilled artisans.

5. How should I care for my silk piece?
Silk is delicate. We recommend:

• Dry clean only
• Avoid contact with water, perfume, or harsh chemicals
• Store flat or loosely rolled to preserve its shape and shine

6. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location.

7. How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days. Delivery times vary by region, but most orders arrive within 5–10 business days.

8. Can I return or exchange my order?
We don't accept return for the moment.

9. Is every design unique?
Yes. Each MONIK piece features artwork from Monique’s original paintings, as part of a limited drop.

10. Will you restock sold-out designs?
If there is high demand, we may do a small restock — but once a design is gone, it may never return in the same form.

11. Can I gift a MONIK piece?
Absolutely. Scarves and lizières will come beautifully packaged in MONIK boxes and make meaningful, timeless gifts. The silk ring will come into a MONIK jewellery pouch. We also offer the option to include a handwritten note, just let us know at checkout.
