Painted from observation along the Loire, Le pêcheur bleu (2022) depicts a marin aboard a gabare, the traditional boat once used to transport salt from the Atlantic Ocean inland towards the communities along the Loire, including Angers.

Translated into silk satin, the scarf carries deep ocean blues alongside soft chalky whites, muted turquoise, lavender, and touches of warm ochre. Its layered palette evokes the meeting of river and sea, capturing the quiet movement of a journey shaped by water, trade, and tradition.
